Day 04: Agra
Welcome to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal! After breakfast our representative will pick you up from the hotel for a full day sight seeing tour of Agra.
Agra is synonymous with the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and romance. The Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. The city of Agra also boasts of some other monuments such as the Red fort and the tomb of It-mad-Ud-Daulah, the tomb of Emperor Jehangir's father-in-law. Overnight stay will be at Hotel in Agra.
Day 05: Agra – Jaipur
It's time to say good-bye to the Taj Mahal and head towards another fascinating destination, Jaipur (the Pink City). After breakfast you will proceed to Jaipur by road, visiting Fatehpur Sikri on the way.
Fatehpur Sikri boasts of some wonderful monuments that were built during the Mughal rule. The buildings at Fatehpur Sikri present a unique blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture. The town of Fatehpur Sikri served as the capital of the Mughal Empire for a few years before being abandoned due to scarcity of water. Some of the highlights at Fatehpur Sikri include the Panch Mahal (Palace of Five Storeys), Buland Darwaza and Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chisti. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check in at the hotel and proceed for a sight seeing tour of Jaipur in the afternoon.
Jaipur, also called the Pink City is the capital of Rajasthan state. Raja Jai Singh founded the city of Jaipur. Jaipur is known for its rich cultural heritage and boasts of some magnificent structures that include the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar (observatory), the City Palace and the Amber fort. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur
After breakfast, you will set out to explore the Amber fort (ascending the fort on elephant's back). Amber Fort is an architectural delight and consists of some prominent buildings such as the Diwani-i-am, Kali Temple and Jai Mandir along with magnificent marble palaces and gardens. You will have free time in the afternoon. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
